Hello, my name is Sheri Gunns and I excited to be your 6th grade Math and Social Studies teacher this year! This is my 16th school year working as a sixth grade teacher, all of which have been with Okemos Public Schools. I graduated from Central Michgian University (Fire up Chips!) with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a major in Math and a minor in Geography. I also have a Middle Level endorsement and have completed 30 credit hours of graduate work in Middle Level Education.
I have been happily married for 16 years and have two wonderful daughters. When I am not teaching I am usually spending time with my family! When I do have some spare time I enjoy reading and shopping.
