Hello! My name is Michelle Arndt and I am the English Learners teacher at Cornell Elementary School. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Music and German Secondary Education from Western Michigan University and my Master's of Education in TESOL from Grand Valley State University. I have taught a variety of subjects and in a variety of places. I have taught regular elementary classroom, middle and high school German and English Learners. I also taught English as a Foreign Language for six years in South Korea. What I love most about teaching is HOW MUCH I learn from my students. I love the varied knowledge and experience they bring to my classroom. I am very fortunate and happy to teach English Learners at Okemos.
My hobbies include traveling, learning languages, playing the violin and spending time with my family and dogs. I have three dogs: two Dachshunds, Oliver and Rocco and one Siberian Husky, Zoe.
