Mrs. Kurzeja is starting her 16th year as a music teacher. She holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Music Education from Michigan State University.  She also has taken certification workshops in Elementary General Music and Early Childhood Music.

Mrs. Kurzeja has many hobbies! She enjoys reading, hiking, biking, sewing, baking, and gardening in her spare time.

Mrs. Kurzeja has four cats and five ducks. The cats are Emily, Missy, and Moose. The ducks are named Sasha, Sonya, Katya, Galina, and Ivana.
