Workshop Learning

  • Workshop learning is a structure used in different curricular areas that allows for all students to have access to core instruction, while also meeting diverse learner needs through differentiation and opportunities for student choice and independence.

Our general workshop times for reading, writing, and math include the following elements:

    • Whole group time (core instruction)

    • Small group time (targeted and differentiated lessons)

    • Independent and partner work time (menu choice activities where learners apply and practice skills)
