    The Okemos Alumni Association is an educational nonprofit organization. While not a part of Okemos Public Schools or Okemos Education Foundation, the organization is dedicated solely to support Okemos Public Schools, its students, activities, and projects directly or through the Okemos Education Foundation.

    The organization has IRS 501(c)(3) standing as the “Okemos High School Alumni Association, Inc.”

    OAA’s charitable mission is to enhance the educational experience for students in the Okemos Public School system. As such, it seeks to provide classroom grants and fund clubs or organizations, facility upgrades and scholarships, either directly with Okemos Public Schools, parent and booster groups, or through the Okemos Education Foundation.
