Who We Are
The Okemos Channel is a service of the Okemos Public Schools Department of Media and Technology. In addition to our original role as the educational access cable television channel serving the Okemos community, we now offer most of our programming on DVD, on Blu-Ray and online. The channel is operated by one full-time school employee and by high school students curious about video production.
To Watch Online
The Okemos Channel On Demand offers virtually all of our programming from the last several years, available in just a couple of clicks. Shows are arranged chronologically, with the most recent shows on the front page. You can also search by school building or other categories to find your program even faster.

To Watch on Television
The Okemos Channel is available only to Comcast subscribers who live within the boundaries of the Okemos community. It can be seen on channels 23 and 913 on the Comcast system. The cable channel primarily shows more recent events, with new events added as they are produced. Because updates happen irregularly and events can have wildly varying lengths, there is no program schedule.
Regular meetings of the Board of Education air live on the cable channel, usually at 7pm on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Meetings are uploaded to the On Demnd website within a few days of the live coverage.
To Order a Program
The programs that we produce are available to purchase on either DVD or Blu-Ray for $15 each. To order a video, print out the order form below, fill it out and mail it with your check to The Okemos Channel, 2800 Jolly Road, Okemos, MI 48864. You do not need to know the exact date of an event, but try to be as specific as possible.
The Okemos Channel maintains an archive of programming that reaches back to the early 1990s. With rare exception, if we recorded it, we still have it on file. So whether you are looking for an event from last month or from years ago, it's never too late to order a video.
