• ALA Michigan Girls State Leadership Program

    The Michigan American Legion Auxiliary (ALA), based out of Lansing is looking for applicants. They are the organizers of ALA Girls State, a week-long women-in-government program at Michigan State University, held the week of June 17, 2018.

    We are looking for young women who will complete their junior year of high school in May/June of 2018 and have an interest in:

    • community issues (environment, business, education, etc.)
    • government (student government)
    • law (courtroom activities)
    • media (journalism, marketing, video production)
    • scholarship opportunities

    Community organizations cover the $350 reservation fee, and the student is only responsible for a $25 registration fee when registering on-line with MSU.

    Applications are due:  MAY 31, 2018

  • Spartan Girls Who Code Club

    Are you a girl who is interested in coding? Join the Spartan Girls Who Code Club! This club meets on Saturdays from 10am-12pm from January 20 - April 21 (no class 3/3, 3/10, 3/31, 4/7). It is located in the Engineering Building at 428 S. Shaw Lane.
