MEETING SCHEDULE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
The purpose of the Okemos District Parent Council (DPC) is to establish a sense of community among the Okemos schools and to increase communication between the administration, staff, school board, parent groups and parents. District Parent Council meetings are attended by the Superintendent, a rotating school board member, the principal of that month’s hosting school, and representatives from each of the seven schools (Bennett Woods, Cornell, Hiawatha, Okemos Public Montessori at Central, Kinawa, Chippewa, and the High School). Each of these members gives a brief report. Guest speakers are often invited to share information about various topics affecting our district. District Parent Council meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. We meet from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
