OKEMOS KIDS CLUB GSRP PROGRAM
Tuition spots are full. Grant spots are available for the afternoon class.
Completed registration packets will be accepted for any available spots we may have. Please return the packet along with a copy of your child's official birth certificate and a $75 registration fee (only charged if admission is granted) to Kim Burchman at the Edgewood Early Childhood Center. Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a half-day program that has been designed to help preschool children transition into Kindergarten. The hours of the GSRP program are 8:45-11:45 am or 12:30-3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.Program Eligibility
To enroll in the GSRP class, children must be four years old, but not five, by December 1, 2018. Please note: GSRP rules state that children with birthdays after 9/1/14 but before 12/1/14 cannot be enrolled until 9/1/18.Tuition subsidies may be available for those who qualify.Program EnrollmentAll families should begin the enrollment process by applying at: Ingham Intermediate School District's Ingham Preschool website. Tuition options are also available.
School of Choice PolicyThe Okemos GSRP classroom makes every attempt to serve the families living in Okemos. Out-of-district families will be considered for any available tuition or grant funded openings after September 10.Child-adult Ratio
The ratio in this program is one adult to eight children. This allows for ample supervision and one-on-one attention to each child's individual needs.GSRP Program CapacityBoth the morning and afternoon class size is limited to 18 children
