• Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a half-day program that has been designed to help preschool children transition into Kindergarten. The hours of the GSRP program are 8:45-11:45 am or 12:30-3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.

    2020/2021 Program Eligibility
To enroll in the GSRP class, children must be four years old, but not five, by December 1, 2020. Please note: GSRP rules state that children with birthdays after 9/1/16 but before 12/1/16 cannot be enrolled until 9/1/20.

Tuition subsidies may be available for those who qualify.

    Program Enrollment
All families should begin the enrollment process by applying at: Ingham Intermediate School District's Ingham Preschool website. Tuition options are also available.

Registrations for tuition spots for the 20/21 school year will be accepted between March 16-27. Those registrations received during that time will be entered into a lottery for any available spots.

    School of Choice Policy
The Okemos GSRP classroom makes every attempt to serve the families living in Okemos. Out-of-district families will be considered for any available tuition or grant-funded openings after September 10.

    Child-adult Ratio
The ratio in this program is one adult to eight children. This allows for ample supervision and one-on-one attention to each child's individual needs.

    GSRP Program Capacity
Both the morning and afternoon class size is limited to 16 children.
