• Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a program that has been designed to help preschool children transition into Kindergarten. 

    2023/2024 Program Eligibility
    To enroll in the GSRP class, children must be four years old, but not five, by December 1, 2023. Please note: GSRP rules state that children with birthdays after 9/1/19 but before 12/1/19 cannot be enrolled until 9/1/23.  
     
    Tuition subsidies may be available for those who qualify.
     
    Program Enrollment
    All families should begin the enrollment process by applying at: Ingham Intermediate School District's Ingham Preschool website. Tuition options are also available. 
     
    Class Hours
    Full Day: 8:30-3:30 Monday through Thursday
    No class on Fridays
     
    School of Choice Policy
     The Okemos GSRP classroom makes every attempt to serve the families living in Okemos. Out-of-district families will be considered for any available tuition or grant-funded openings after September 10.
     
    Child-adult Ratio
    The ratio in this program is one adult to eight children. This allows for ample supervision and one-on-one attention to each child's individual needs.
