    Key Job Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Develops and implements, then reviews, evaluates and revises a short and long range plan for the application of media and instructional technology.
    • Ensures that technology/media are integrated into the instructional and administrative programs.
    • Assists with district-wide planning by investigating and providing direction on innovative technologies and programming related to instructional and administrative functions.
    • Collaborates with district technology coordinators in the implementation of new instructional technologies and makes recommendations related to program and system design, improvements and operations.
    • Administers the selection process and acquisitions of hardware, software and other equipment purchases of the district, including installation in District facilities. Also administers the disposal of outdated printed materials and technology hardware and software according to Board and State policies.
    • Uses a variety of assessment tools to understand the district’s technology needs and develops staff development activities and workshops in response to those needs and to evaluate the success of programs.
    • Administers a plan for maintenance, repair and replacement of media and technology hardware, software, print, non-print and equipment for the district.
    • Oversees the technology budget and works with the Director of Finance on budgeting and purchasing, including developing RFP’s for large equipment replacements, vendor interaction and presentations to the Board of Education.
    • Administers federal and State budgets and grants and applies for and completes all technology/media related plans, grants and reports.
    • Oversees district equipment and network maintenance including performance of general maintenance and repair or arrangements for repair.

    Serve as administrative assistant to the guidance office in such a manner as to maximize the operation of the counseling department; assist with secretarial responsibilities in such a manner to maximize the operation of the principal’s office.

    Responsibilities/Qualifications:

    • Maintain master schedule, building calendar, and bell schedules.
    • PowerSchool experience preferred.
    • Schedule all students for upcoming fall and complete schedule changes that occur at 6, 9, and 12-week intervals throughout the year. Complete schedule changes for staff regularly.
    • Care and attend to students who are ill or injured.  Contact parents in case of injury and/or illness, and keep teachers apprised of special medical concerns in their classrooms.
    • Produce and maintain all forms used in the enrollment process; enroll and schedule new students, verify all required documentation, communicate necessary new student information to appropriate departments.
    • Maintain and process attendance records and tardies.  Monitor arrival and departure during the school day.  Inform the administration of excessive tardies and absences completing truancy documentation when necessary.  Provide teachers with weekly attendance reports.
    • Maintain CA-60’s (includes; immunizations, test scores, report cards, schedules, etc.).  
    • Compile information for Count Day reports and act as a liaison with the ISD.  Responsible for information needed for student audits.
    • Maintain computerized information relating to master schedules, student schedules, report cards, immunization, attendance, registration, grades, etc.
    • Manage and maintain student emergency card information and prepare student directory.
    • Assist with the organization for Parent/Teacher Conferences; curriculum night, etc.
    • Complete weekly report to the Ingham County Health Department of illness’ and disease within the building.
    • Act as building notary.  Complete certificates of enrollment and necessary documentation for students moving out of the country.

    Job Summary

    Work with Preschoolers, providing learning opportunities through play. The qualified individual will plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, provide comfort to children and build a positive relationship with parents and staff. The hours are 10:00-6:00, Monday through Friday.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Under the direct supervision of the Early Childhood Supervisor, the Preschool Lead Teacher shall be responsible for:

    • Work with an assigned group of preschoolers applying best practices for their physical and social-emotional care including planning and implementing curriculum using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold.
    • Facilitate and nurture the development of each child's self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy.
    • Ability to lift children up to forty-five pounds, sit on the floor, bend at the waist, kneel and/or stoop 75% of the time.
    • Provide direct supervision, training, guidance and leadership assistance to assigned support staff. Conduct periodic observations to evaluate job performance of support staff, maintain appropriate documentation, and meet timelines set by supervisors.
    • Teach and assess developmental assessments and note-taking of children using Teaching Strategies Gold.
    • Partner with parents to develop educational and family goals along with developing a bond between the classroom and parents.
    • Participate in regularly scheduled conferencing sessions, staff meetings, parent meetings, in-service trainings, and other meetings as directed.
    • Adhere to licensing regulations related to childcare.
    • Provide 6 hours of in-ratio contact with children and modeling of caregiver expectations for staff on a daily basis.
